WE DID IT AHHHH. We're celebrating today, but also running the 24-hour stream, so we'll post again in the future about the next stretch goal we're doing after the pins! For now, we're working towards Pins Series 2 at 40k!
The deluxe edition art is already underway, being developed by our artist Bianca! Will circle back to share it once it's finalized! :D
We've added rewards for the hardback and deluxe edition books! You can feel free to adjust your pledge accordingly.

Well gang, I was GOING to go play some Super Mario Sunshine. But y'all decided to be awesome so now I'm here writing this Kickstarter update while Niko Bay waits for me to clean the teeth of their underwater eel monster.

This Friday, starting at 9:00 AM EST., Action Fiction will be playing DnD for 24-hours straight on our Twitch channel! We'll be playing in 6 different one-shots across a 24-hour period, and each one-shot will be run by a member of the writing team, with Brad, CJ, myself, and our friend Luis as players! We had originally planned for HunnieBunz to join us for the stream, but they had to miss due to a scheduling conflict :[
What's fun about this is people can contribute to the stream (where money goes to the Kickstarter campaign) and cause fun and exciting things to happen to characters in the game! Cast spells, release monsters, and even take direct control of NPCs and creatures during the games!

WE HIT 30K and I'm gonna keep shouting about it. This means we unlocked, uhhh... *checks notes* THE DICE! Oh god you guys hit the dice before we had previews ready to go. I'm still waiting on samples back from Libris Arcana, but you have my word that I'll get you all previews as soon as I am humanly able (I'm a human, I swear).
Oh, speaking of previews, here are those pins we talked about from before, which will become add-ons by the time you read this:
Each of those pins will be printed on brass metal, with soft enamel coloring. As I mentioned before, these are designed by Baerthe, who also did the emojis for our Discord, which, as a reminder, you should join. Also, sorry those images are big as hell, but Baerthe just did too good of a job. I'll have to talk to them about doing too well.
The NEXT Stretch goal we'll be working toward, at 35k, is Hardcover and Deluxe faux-leather books! I have posted the picture of the old books tons of times but until I have a preview for the new one, I'm gonna keep posting them here to show y'all what they look like because they're so god damned pretty.
I'm working with the same artist who did the first limited edition of the book to do the foil cover for this one as well, and as soon as we have finalized art, we'll be dropping it here for you!
And, finally, the next stretch goal: Pins, series 2, at 40k! We'll do 4 more pins using art, characters, and monsters from the book! This series will have a Monsters of Murka logo, among other things, and I'm SUPER excited to hit this goal. (Also, I'm not making a formal announcement, but as a sneaky secret - for 50k, we're thinking about doing an adventure module).
Also, and I'm gonna keep saying this: Add-ons can still be added-on after the campaign during the pledge manager, so if you'd prefer to wait, you can always grab your add-ons later! This applies to all of our add-ons, current and planned: Pins, dice, coins, more copies of the book, etc.
This one is brief, but I wanted to point out that we are running playtest campaigns for Restaurants and Retail content. If you want to play in the world of Murka, we are actively running games every week until the end of the Kickstarter. Jump into our Discord and play some DnD with the creators of Monsters of Murka! While Brad, CJ, and myself are working hard to make Restaurants and Retail a critical success, one of our newest leaders, Bailey Megrian, is leading a design team in creating a cryptid-themed expansion to the world of Murka, which will release in time for Halloween! That writing team is comprised of writers who contributed to Restaurants and Retail. The art direction is being done by the lovely Snails once again (they did the art direction for Restaurants and Retail). Here are a few WIP pieces from the art team on that project:

This is such a great experience. Our first Kickstarter, we clawed tooth and nail to get this far, and y'all made this happen in under 24 hours. Thank you.
So now, let's talk about what happens next.
First, we have some more work to do on the Kickstarter. 70% is great! But we have to close that gap so we can start work on the Stretch Goals, like hardcover and faux leather cover editions (like we did for the first book), as well as dice, pins, and more!
Second, I want to talk to you guys about what's happening over the next two weeks. Our plan is to do a Reddit AMA on Thursday, September 17th! There, you can ask us ANY questions. What's it like to form a TTRPG company? What's one thing you wish you'd done differently? What color are your socks? I know you'll make it weird, and I'm excited for it.
After that, on September 25th, we'll be doing a 24-hour livestream over on our Twitch channel, where we'll be playing all Restaurants and Retail content for all 24 hours, and the games will be run by some of the folks who wrote the book. And best of all? People who donate during the livestream can affect what happens during the game! Chat can cast spells, spawn monsters, and even take control of NPCs! There are varying effects you can have on the game for varying amounts of donations. Come hang out for that and let's see what happens.

Y'all, I am a big doof. I added this reward last minute after realizing many of you may not have read our Gold-best-selling core book, and because it was a hectic last minute add, I forgot to include ALL of the things you get. So, to clarify:
