This is a very exciting update for us for 2 reasons: 1) Nearly all of you (With the exception of a few backers that are awaiting erroneously split shipments) will have received the entirety of your Murka books and goodies by now, yay! And 2) OUR NEW KICKSTARTER, Cthulhu Dreamt JUST LAUNCHED THIS MORNING! Lemme tell you about it!
Cthulhu Dreamt is a multimedia storytelling experience, taking shape as a tabletop role-playing game (with a completely unique system), a soundtrack (that’s completely stream-friendly), a novel, and more. You can immerse yourself in the story through music, prose, and connected media—and then you can live the story!
You and your friends play a group of people who awaken from a shared dream, and are called upon by a secret government agency to rescue one of their top scientists. On your journey across the globe, you will fend off the rising tide of cosmic effects and otherworldly organisms from consuming the planet… and humanity along with it.
Throughout the Kickstarter, we’ll be running an integrated ARG detailing some of the secrets of the world of Cthulhu Dreamt. The first 5 people to solve this ARG will earn themselves a deluxe copy of the book, vinyl soundtrack, and more secret rewards.

Hi everyone! Bailey here with a quick update. We’ve had some people reach out to us about receiving damaged books or portions of their add-ons missing. If this has happened to you please email us with a photo of the damage, a copy of your pledge, and the email address associated with your Kickstarter account!
Rest assured that we have looked into the issue and are taking steps to ensure our fulfillment team knows about the issue so it will not continue happening. If you notice anything wrong with your order please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Books are arriving! A number of people (including Snails’ mom!) have, in one way or another, sent us or posted pictures of their Murka swag and we are loving it! If you get yours, we’d love to see you with it. Use #MurkaMerch on twitter or head on over to our discord and throw it out there, we’ve got the best group of weirdos yet!
The only problem we’re having with fulfillment at this point is that the warehouse appears to have split up SOME orders for some reason. We are looking into why this has happened but in the meantime nobody appears to have been double charged for shipping, and it only appears to be happening to A FEW people. So if it's happening to you please continue reaching out to us and we will continue helping as we can!
With the completion and fulfillment of our Murka Campaigns, we are so excited to announce the official launch of CTHULHU DREAMT! A Multimedia TTRPG extravaganza that will be launching on kickstarter at the end of this month, if you want to stay up-to-date check out our pre-launch page here
Rick Heinz (the creative mind behind The Red Opera, and a close friend of Action Fiction) is preparing to kick off his own studio, Storyteller's Forge. Their first project is called The Black Ballad, and their BackerKit page is open for you to check out!
The Black Ballad is a full-length campaign and setting for 5E and other compatible systems inspired by DiAmorte’s savage metal opera of their second album. It's set in a limbo-like plane called The Sunless Crossing, where souls go when they die, before they're eventually ferried onto their afterlives or resurrected. But what happens when Resurrection Magic gets shut off?
Jaron (one of the authors of Murka) is also a featured writer on the campaign! He created a few playable species and backgrounds, and I've got a hand in some other as-yet unannounced places as well. So by supporting Rick and Storyteller's Forge, you're also sort of supporting Action Fiction! It's a win-win-win-win. AND you'll get a bad-ass TTRPG campaign out of it! A veritable win-win-win-win-win.

It has been a hard road and you, personally, have been wonderful at every step of it. Your books, coffee, and other merch will arrive soon and we would absolutely love it if you were able to post about them and support our upcoming projects, but honestly? Brad here, back at it again with an update!
Here’s proof!
That’s right. As we speak things are being put into boxes. Labels are being secured, and truck drivers are loading their beds with your wonderful content. Be sure to check your P.O. boxes, stoops, and neighbor’s stoops for your goodies in the next week or so! If you’d like some updated shipping information, Backerkit has you covered as well and should have tracking numbers available for you within the next couple days!
As of the writing of this update, the first 120 orders have shipped. So, please check the address listed in your backerkit to ensure its correctness! THEN if it is incorrect, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information

It is our hope to have all the orders fulfilled in the next month so that we can post a month from now about how this kickstarter is finished and we are focusing on our next big thing!
